I haven’t been updating at all because, heh, I got a boyfriend, and I’ve been spending almost every day with him. I mentioned him once before, his name is Angelo and he loves anime and manga just as much as I do. I actually met him on a forum and he lives not too far from me so it works out. I’ve been having a blast latey, more so than I can ever remember. I’ve almost forgotten about…what was his name? Angelo got me into Tommy heavenly6 and Albatross18 (Pangya). xD
Anyway, anime updatey time. Angelo and I have started watching Venus Versus Virus; we are currently on episode five. I watch it at his place so I can’t take screencaps. :( Otherwise I would, because I really delight in the animation. I wish they’d make a sweet PVC figure of Lucia Nahashi, but I looked everywhere and they’ve only ever made a shitty gashapon. That blows because Lucia is so badass.
I’ve been watching Kanokon and I have to say, I just don’t like it. There’s not really any storyline from what I can see (I’m only on episode five) and there’s just too much ecchi. That’s right, I said too much ecchi. Now I love my ecchi just as much as the next girl but they just completely overload Kanokon with it. To be honest, the only reason I’m still watching it is because the animation is just so damn good. Also I have been watching ef – a tale of melodies. Of course, it doesn’t disappoint. During episode ten I was very close to tears. I was shocked about what happened to Yuuko. But that episode did confuse me a bit. I was kind-of like, “Wait, what’s going on?” I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Currently I am reading the manga to Claymore, which I borrowed from Angelo. I’m halfway through volume 8 right now, and I must say, the anime was very faithful to the manga so far. I’m so glad I get to read the manga. ^_^
Well, now on to Nanaka 6/17! I really liked this series. The animation was clean and simple, while failing to look lackluster. So, here are the screencaps.
