It’s been a while because I have moved into my fiance’s apartment and spent a while getting comfortable and settled. So far everything’s gone just perfectly. Angelo’s parents came down and bought us a bunch of stuff for our apartment. It was really generous of them! But yeah, things have been great; I’m feeling okay and have adapted much better than expected.

So, Ntreev USA has launched Pangya Season 4 Delight. Before the end of Season 3, I had won the Lucia pop star ticket, so now I have the dumb bitch. I don’t want her at all, I hate Lucia. Hana is my main ho. I wish there was a way I could delete it or gift it, but alas, no such option exists.

It’s really buggy right now. Just the other day I was playing a game on the new course Lost Seaway when the entire Titan Boo server disconnected.
-An unknown item keeps appearing in some people’s gift boxes.
-Yesterday I logged in to find that I had a bunch of items missing, including but not limited to: one Cecelia Rainbow Feather, a skirt and shirt for Hana, a Tiki Scroll, both halves of a heart, and everything I gained from completing the tutorial. However I logged out and then logged back in and everything was back. Just to be safe I took screenshots of everything in my inventory. What else is buggy…
-oh, people keep getting a message that they have received scratchy cards when they actually can’t locate them.
-People are having trouble downloading the actual client.
-Sometimes when I log off and then log back in the server thinks I’m still online.
-The chat filter is ridiculous; you can’t type words like Titan Boo because it has the word “tit” in it.
-Also tons of random clothing items have been removed from the shop – this seems unintentional. I dunno, those are just some that I’ve encountered. I’d have gladly waited an extra month or whatever for a beta to get these bugs taken care of. This wasn’t a smart move on Ntreev’s part. They had honestly better have a quit rate reduction event or a lot of people are going to be pissed. My quit rate went up to 2.9 because of this mess.

Let’s get on to the good points of season 4 though I guess.
-There’s a treasure system where for each course you win items. I’ve won one scratchy card so far and a few other things.
-When you level up, you also get rewards. I’m a Senior E now.
-Lost Seaway is the best place for pang farming and very easy to boot.
-They have an excellent tutorial that’s very explanatory and you even receive things from completing it.
-There’s a safe box feature that’s password-protected where you can store some items and pang.
-GM tourneys can now host up to 100 people.
-Kaz now has some nifty sounds instead of being quiet.
-There’s a new view for starting off at the tee.
-We now have unlimited tries in the Papel Shop (not that it matters because the chances of winning a rare, let alone seeing one, are less than sprouting a penis out of your head and shitting gold statues of midget transvestites) plus a load of new items were added to Papel Shop as well. That’s really all I can think of for now.

A cool new feature that was made available are tourney jump-ins. You can now join a tourney that’s not full if time allows. There are also Tiki report scrolls which let you leave a tourney early instead of waiting until time is up.

Still though, hackers are ever-rampant. It took them what, three days to bypass GameGuard? I was in a Lost Seaway tourney today and noticed that
tonycheese was the host; he said that he had already kicked a bunch of hackers. That and I’ve also seen reports of hackers in the forum. Of course the BR’s are still at it. The spam is just as bad as ever, if not worse. I don’t want to hate BR’s or their country, and I don’t (yet), but the majority of the ones I’ve seen are hackers and rude spammers. Still though for every 100 spammers I see, there’s one that will apologize for not speaking English in a public area. Sure, Ntreev could do something about it, like IP block Brazil or ban any new Brazilian players from making an account, but they are too money-hungry to do so in my opinion. They made a contract with some company in Brazil or some bullshit like that. Also I happen to know that a few certain GM’s (I won’t drop names) that PvP in Grand Chase (yes, I am an avid player of Grand Chase – go Lire!) get paid enough money to have A+ stats and over 1600 attack. Shit in Grand Chase isn’t cheap – not really expensive, but still, not really cheap. So, yeah.

I think I’m done with this for now. Maybe I’ll do another update at the end of the month or the beginning of August when the rest of Season 4’s content is released.

That’s right, on the 15th of this month, my boyfriend (now fiance!) asked me to marry him! ヾ(●⌒∇⌒●)ﾉ わーい Of course I said yes. The ring is beautiful, and just what I wanted. I love sapphire and I love the color blue, so he got me a sapphire ring with diamonds and a white-gold band. Pictures duh!

The pictures just don’t do it justice. :D My parents are really happy and like him a lot, as his parents also like me a lot. I’ll be moving out to his place soon and I’ve already started packing some stuff. I’m really excited for it. This is a very intense time in my life right now.

Anyway I’m sick as a dog right now (what does that even mean anyway?) so that’s why I didn’t post this sooner. I’ve already gone through a bottle and a half of Robitussin CF and half a box of tissues. I’ve been coughing non-stop and blowing my nose even more. I feel really miserable and because of my sickness I haven’t been able to see Angelo, and to make things suckier, my friend Megan came up from Maryland and I wasn’t even able to see her. She says that she’ll be coming up again in a couple of weeks though so I’ll thankfully get to see her then.

Happy May 1st. I’ve not been able to update for a long time ’cause a lot went on in April, mainly going to South Carolina for a week to visit my boyfriend’s parents with him (that’s where they live). It was quite an experience; the drive from here (Pennsylvania) to South Carolina took us twelve hours and was roughly 630 miles. The drive was okay for the first maybe seven or eight hours, but after that it got unbearable. Angelo (boyfriend) drank like two energy drinks, two energy shots, and had to take caffeine pills as well just to make it. Fortunately on the way back we got to stay at a really nice hotel courtesy of his father so it wasn’t bad at all. All in all it was fun.

Angelo and I went to see Dragonball Evolution…wow. What a terribly bad movie. Yamcha was fucking stupid, Bulma was a whore, Chi Chi was a dumb bitch, and Goku was more or less a horrible actor that looked like Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day:

To make matters worse there was this stupid Korean bitch that just had to bring her 300 small children with her. She spent the entire time flapping her gums away on the phone while her children ran around the theater like banshees. Whatever though, I didn’t go into the theater expecting to see a masterpiece. I was very aware that I was watching a movie.

On the third of April, my boyfriend and I went to Tekkoshocon, an anime convention held annually around the Pittsburgh area. As expected there were fat nerds all over the place. Well I happened to actually find a bunch of packs of Pretty Sammy trading cards! Imagine my surprise when I saw them! I bought as many as I could afford, along with a really nice PVC figure of Otome Asakura from D.C. II.

Anyway, about anime I’ve been watching…I finished Sora wo Miageru Shoujo no Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai a while ago, and it was really beautiful. I wish they would have expanded on it more though, namely the relationship between Yumemi and Munto.

I also finished Maria Holic and I have to say that while I loved it, I was a little disappointed. I honestly expected Kanako and Mariya to end up together somehow. It was still awesome anyway.

I started Kodomo no Jikan Ni Gakki and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei and I like both so far, though I like Higurashi a little more because of the Rika moeness. I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen in Higurashi, not to mention that the animation is beautiful.

I also watched an interesting anime called Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora. It’s about a boy named Yuuichi Ezaki who has to stay in the hospital for an extended period of time due to hepatitis. He meets a girl there named Rika Akiba who he befriends and falls in love with; he learns, though, that she has a life-threatening heart problem and may not live, and thus this is the storyline. What can I say? I cried. It was a really great series. I’d recommend it to anyone, because I think it’s something that anyone can enjoy.

I’m currently watching K-ON! and Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. I like K-ON! and everything but the hype over the series is really pissing me off. I guess it’s just something I’ll have to ignore, hard as that will be. As for SZS, it’s…weird. I’m on episode 8 at the moment and I’m still not sure what to think of it or why I’m watching it in the first place. Still, I’m going to watch it all anyway just because I’m already this far and I have no other anime to watch at the moment.

Happy Birthday To Me

It was my 20th birthday on the 26th of March. Meh…it doesn’t matter how old I get, every lady at the cigarette counter that cards me tells me she thought I was 12 years old. ヽ(ー_ー )ノ

So the day went good. I woke up on the 26th at my boyfriend’s apartment, got ready, and we then headed off to Applebee’s where I ordered a sirloin tip steak (omg sooo good), mozzarella sticks, and french fries. Angelo (my boyfriend) was a little buzzed while driving because he ordered some sort of alcoholic drink. DX After that we went to the mall and I purchased some clothing; my boyfriend also got me a really sweet purse, which is good because I needed a new (and bigger!) purse.

After we came home from the mall, my other family members plus my best friend Collin arrived; Collin gave me a bunch of fioricet so I was delightfully fucked up the entire time; I don’t really remember much though but that’s how you should celebrate your birthday, damn it.

So yeah, they sang happy birthday to me and I opened up presents and cards and ate ice cream cake and got more fucked up and the night ended with my boyfriend taking Collin and I to the mall and buying some more shit. I got some cute new clothes, xxxHolic manga volume 3, Tsubasa manga volume 3, Inuyasha manga volume 12, Higurashi manga volume 2, and a great Chobits artbook called “Your Eyes Only”. I don’t actually remember purchasing any of these things, just that I was nicely high.

Speculation

Listening to: Standing on the Hill by Do As Infinity

With all the recent goings-on about Pangya and Ntreev and all, I thought I’d write down my thoughts and opinions on the matter.

There’s a lot of buzz going on right now about Pangya. There are many questions, the most popular being:

1.) Will our accounts get transferred?
2.) Will there be a pang wipe?
3.) What season will we start in?
4.) When will we get season 4?
5.) How will we stop pang hackers and other types of cheaters?
6.) When will we be able to download the game?

Honestly, it’s really annoying going around the newly-launched forums and seeing these questions all over the goddamned place. Do people not know how to read the announcements? There aren’t any answers yet and posting the same questions over and over again will not only flood the forums with useless spam but it will also piss people off. The mods/GMs/whatever will post news when they know anything.

I think that people should be grateful at all that Ntreev so generously picked up Pangya. I’ve seen loads of people say that they will not play anymore if accounts are not transferred. This I can understand for people who put large amounts of money into the game, because they’ll have just spent it for it all to go to naught. I, personally, won’t be leaving if the accounts aren’t transferred. Maybe it’s because I didn’t spend any actual money on the game but regardless I won’t be leaving. I haven’t been playing that long and I really love Pangya. I certainly would miss all of the items, clothing, and stats that I have for my Hana, but with a few months I’m sure I could get it all back. My gain would ultimately be greater than my loss.

Also if there were a pang wipe, I wouldn’t mind too much either even though I did have upwards of 632,000 pang in my account. The reason why I wouldn’t mind a pang wipe is because the Pangya economy was fucking RIDICULOUS. I would go into the PSquares and see feathers selling for 1 million pang and beyond. I even saw a few Kooh Devil’s Feathers selling for 9,999,999 pang! Are people insane? They were still in the Papel Shop for crying out loud. People don’t seem to realize that they likely ruined it for everybody.

As for what season we’ll be starting in, this is just a guess, but I’m thinking season 3. There are a few reasons I think this. The part of Ntreev USA’s site that is dedicated to Pangya shows the trailer for season 3 and also there are a few things from season 3 that we didn’t get due to OffesnivelyGrossPlanet erm I mean OGPlanet’s lack of updates (clothing, rares and such). In my honest opinion, anyone who is thinking we will start out with season 4 is really kidding themselves.

Anyway, just wanted to put in my two cents about all this uproar going on right now. e_e

I Hate Dell

On the 24th of February I kept getting the blue screen of death on my computer and now it won’t even run in safe mode anymore. I called Dell and now I have to get my hard drive, RAM, motherboard, and possibly a few other things replaced so I won’t be able to update until next week. Fucking bullshit. My boyfriend let me borrow his laptop but it won’t connect to the internet for some reason so for now I can’t get on much – I’m on a different computer right now.

The lesson here is:

DON’T BUY A DELL.

Bit of Catching Up

Exactly one year ago today, I started this blog. A lot has happened in that year; I turned 19, I went through three break-ups and two mental hospitals, revisited my past a little, found tons of great new anime and music, lost a friend, gained another boyfriend, did more drugs than I care to talk about, was introduced to Pangya and MyAnimeList.net, met a band, and now, over 50,000 hits and 300 comments later, here I am today. Thank you everybody!

I withdraw my last post because Ntreev Soft has decided to pick up Albatross18/Pangya! You can read the official announcement here. Hopefully Ntreev will take better care of us and the game than OGPlanet did. Then again, a group of homeless 10-year-olds with wooden eyes and perpetual gonorrhea could do a better job than OGPlanet.

Oh man hmm…I will start with anime I am watching that is currently airing. I’ll start with Maria Holic.

So far it seems to be about a presumably lesbian high school girl named Kanako Miyamae whom just transfers to an all-girl school. Everything seems fine; there are beautiful girls everywhere providing exorbitant amounts of eye candy for our protagonist and all is going smoothly until Kanako meets a stunning girl named Mariya Shidou. Mariya gets too close to Kanako and Kanako breaks out in hives. This she finds odd because she is an anomaly of sorts – she breaks out in hives when men are too close to her. Shortly after, Kanako stumbles upon Mariya undressing – only to find out that Mariya is, in fact, a man. Mariya threatens to out Kanako if Kanako tells their peers this fact, and so Kanako becomes the sadistic Mariya’s slave, more-or-less.
Thus you have Maria Holic.

I like this anime a whole lot and it’s not boring for even one second. The humor is fucked-up and brutal, the art is very nice (which is quite important to me), it’s vulgar and sometimes offensive, and the storyline leaves a lot to be questioned. I think I’m going to enjoy this one very much.

Next I will comment on Akikan!. Akikan! is about a high school boy named Daichi Kakeru who has the hobby of collecting juice cans. On a seemingly normal day he buys a can of melon juice from a vending machine and when he drinks it, he opens his eyes to find that he is touching lips with a pretty young girl. This girl, whom he names “Meron/Melon”, is what they call an Akikan. An Akikan is a girl that resides in either steel or aluminum cans and all have powers. My favorite Akikan so far is the adorable Budoko. I like this series, just not as much as I thought I would.

Now I will go over the second season of Sasami: Mahou Shoujo Club. Wow, what an amazing series this turned out to be. It started off with seeming like a children’s show, but the second season was so much more morbid. They really showed Misao’s dark side in-depth and how much she idolizes and envies Sasami for being able to be so extroverted and outgoing with everyone. I also really liked the cute romance between Sasami and Ami-chan. I wasn’t able to take any screenshots because I couldn’t import the DVD to my computer and was too lazy to figure out how to do it, but oh well. Honestly, the the anime in general turned out to be so much more than what I had originally anticipated it to be.

The next anime I will go over is Rizelmine. This one tells the story of Tomonori Iwaki, a regular fifteen-year-old boy, who is suddenly forced to marry a twelve-year-old girl named Rizel. Each episode is fifteen minutes long. I am currently on episode fifteen and really liking it. It’s really funny and cute.

Now I’ll talk about Sora wo Miageru Shoujo no Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai. This anime is just amazing so far. The art is absolutely beautiful and the storyline has me really drawn in, although it’s a bit confusing so I can’t really write what it’s about. I really like the heroine, Yumemi Hidaka, and I loved the way that the characters Suzume Imamura and Kazuya Takamori convey their feelings to each other. Munto is a really cool guy too. This series is actually based off of a two-part OVA simply called Munto; I’ll have to check it out after this is done airing.

Next I’ll discuss Kimi ga Nozomu Eien ~Next Season~. This was a four-part OVA detailing a good ending for Haruka. It was okay, nothing spectacular, but I really enjoyed the animation. OVA’s usually have really great animation; perhaps that is why I like them so much. I didn’t begin watching this until all four episodes had already been subbed.

Da Capo If is one that I will go over next. It’s only got two episodes but I really liked the first one. It centers around Kotori which pleases me because Kotori is my second-favorite Da Capo character. My guess is that the reason why they decided to make an OVA with her as the main character is because she seems to be the most popular and favored Da Capo character. I can’t wait until the next part comes out.

Another anime I watched recently was Kaitou Tenshi Twin Angel. This two-part OVA revolves around two magical girls, Aoi Kannazuki and Haruka Minazuki and their adventures fighting crime. I really think that Mamiko Noto and Yukari Tamura did really well together as the main characters respectively. Plus, I can’t get the theme song out of my head. >_>

Last and certainly the least, Kanokon. Why do I say that? It was just an awful series. The storyline (if you can really call it that) was terrible and almost every single character annoyed the piss out of me. I heard someone say that Kanokon is just one step below hentai; that person is absolutely right. As I stated in a previous post, there’s just waaaaaay too much ecchi and fanservice. The only redeeming quality was the animation and art-style. That was amazing. Other than that, thumbs way down.

Sayonara, Albatross18

Two days ago after waking up from a nap at my boyfriend’s place, I lit up a cigarette and went to the OGPlanet forums to find titles to threads such as “Sad News”, “Goodbye Albatross18″, and “Where do we go now?” I totally knew what was up before even clicking on any of the threads.

Yeah, Albatross18’s servers are closing on March 10th. I don’t fully know why as a reason wasn’t given, but I’m sure it comes down to money, just like everything else does. I can’t say I’m surprised, though. Members of Albatross18 have been speculating for a long time that the servers would close. Sucks, we didn’t even get season 4.

I have to say I’m disappointed. Albatross18 is such a fun game and so much more than just a golf game. So, so much more. My boyfriend is the one who introduced me to this game; before he and I met, we would talk on the phone while having a one-on-one match, and when we’re apart, we still talk on the phone and play for hours.

I can only hope that Ntreev Soft will pick it up, but being a pessimist at heart, I doubt that will happen. My experiance with Albatross18 was short-lived but just as meaningful as everyone else’s experiances with the game. As a result of my best friend getting into a calamitous car accident last summer, he got a huge settlement of ninety-thousand dollars…so he asked me if there was anything I wanted. I gave him a link to a figure I wanted – Yotsunoha Limited Edition Nono Nekomiya Nekomimi Sukumizu Over-knee-sock White Neko Version – $110. It’s from the anime and H-game Yotsunoha and is made of high-quality PVC and ABS; the figure was done by Kotobukiya. I was so excited when it finally came two days ago! Obviously I had to take at least 100 pictures, so here they are.

I am very happy with this figure and it completely met my expectations. The paint job is eloquent and the detail is astonishing. I’m much obliged to Collin for buying this for me; it was very hospitable of him.
